Return Policy
Your satisfaction is what counts at GoldenGateTrikke.com. If you are not satisfied for any reason with your purchase, we will gladly accept your return (according to the following return conditions).
We only accept returns if your item was purchased at our GoldenGateTrikke.com store either online or physically at our location.
All return requests must be sent by email to sam@goldengatetrikke.com with details of your order within 7 days of the delivery of your merchandise. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) code will be issued and sent to you via e-mail to confirm your request along with instructions on how to return your order. All orders may be physically returned to us, but must be scheduled in advance.
Packages received without an RMA code might be delayed or returned to sender.
All returns must be received by us within 30 days of purchase.
All Trikke Carving Vehicles products may be returned after use.
All accessories must be unused and in original condition with all tags affixed and in original packaging.
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all unused returns and a 30% restocking/refurbishing fee will be applied to all used returns. The shipping and handling fee is not refundable. A refund will be credited within 72 hours in the same form as the original payment type and an email confirmation will be sent to you once we have processed your return. Please allow 7 days for a refund to be reflected on your credit card account.
For your protection, we strongly recommend you ship packages with insurance and obtain a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation from your shipper. We are not responsible for returned packages that are lost or damaged.
If you'd like to exchange your item, please send an email request it to sam@goldengatetrikke.com . Please note that you will be charged the difference in the price (if appropriate) plus all shipping and handling fees.
Training Courses & Free Demos
All training courses purchased through Golden Gate Trikke are non-refundable. Training courses are transferable to another party as long as the original purchaser has not yet participated in any training. GoldenGateTrikke.com and their employees are not responsible for any incidence or injuries resulting from the participation of the trainee. All participants of our training courses and free demos must wear a helmet, gloves, sneakers (no sandals or slip-on shoes allowed). We can provide helmets and gloves at no additional cost, but we cannot guarantee availability. All participants MUST sign a Liability/Release Waiver form before being allowed to participate in any training or demo sessions. GoldenGateTrikke.com and their employees reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Please check with your doctor if you have a medical condition before participating in any demos or purchasing training from GoldenGateTrikke.com.

Bonus Reward Points
All customers are eligible to receive bonus points on all products offered through www.goldengatetrikke.com and at our retail store.
Reward points will be given after an order has been been approved and processed (usually at checkout confirmation).
Points are redeemable for discounts towards your future orders.
All items returned that have bonus points that were used on the same or other products will be deducted from the full balance due.
In other words, if Item 1 was purchased and you received bonus points, then used those points to purchase Item 2, then returned Item 1, you will be refunded the full value less reward points, restocking fees, taxes on restocking fees, etc.
Golden Gate Trikke reserves the right to change, alter, add, or remove the bonus reward points at any time.

Trikke Carving Vehicle Assembly and Usage
All local orders (within the San Francisco Bay Area) will receive free assembly of all Trikke Carving Vehicles purchased through Golden Gate Trikke.com. All Trikke Carving Vehicles that are assembled through GoldenGateTrikke.com must schedule a pickup of their product in
Sausalito . If a purchase is made in person at one of our demo locations, assembly can be made at the time of sale. GoldenGateTrikke.com and their employees are not responsible for any injuries resulting from any misuse or assembly errors caused by its employees or by the purchaser. Please read the owners manual and adhere to all the safety warnings written in the manual and on the Trikke Carving Vehicles.
Rentals
All customers who wish to rent Trikke Carving Vehicles and/or Skki’s must provide a credit card and a driver’s license or other form of ID. Your credit card will be authorized the full amount of the Trikke and will be credited once the Trikke has been returned in the condition it was received. If the rented Trikke(s) are lost, stolen, or damaged, we reserve the right to charge the customer a reasonable amount up to and including the full amount of the value of the Trikke rented.

Subject to the following limitations, terms and conditions, Trikke Tech, Inc (“Company”) warrants to the original owner of each new Trikke™ cambering vehicle (“Vehicle”) that the Vehicle when new is free of defective materials and workmanship. This warranty shall expire twelve months from the date of the original purchase from Company or an authorized dealer or representative ("Golden Gate Trikke, L.L.C.") and is conditioned upon the Vehicle being operated under normal conditions and use, and properly maintained. This warranty is void if the Vehicle was not purchased new or not properly assembled. Make sure to send in your Owner Registration Card to Trikke Tech by mail or log on to www.trikke.com/registration and register online.

If the Vehicle frame should break due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, the Vehicle will be replaced subject to the Conditions of Warranty below. If any part of the Vehicle fails to function properly due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, such part will be repaired or replaced, at Company’s discretion, subject to the Conditions of Warranty below.
All warranty and repair work shall be scheduled and repaired at Golden Gate Trikke, L.L.C. in
Sausalito ,
CA during normal business hours. If requested, warranty and repair work can be done at requested locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In such cases, requestor shall be required to pay for travel and bridge expenses, along with a standard labor rate set forth by Golden Gate Trikke, L.L.C, which will be agreed upon between both parties before the time of service.
Conditions of Warranty
This Limited Warranty is made only to the original owner of the new Vehicle purchased from Company or an authorized dealer or representative, and it shall remain in force only as long as the original owner retains ownership of the Vehicle. This Limited Warranty is not transferable.

In order to exercise your rights under this limited warranty, the warranty claim must be presented during the warranty period to Company or one of its authorized representatives, together with a receipt, bill of sale or other appropriate written proof of purchase. The original owner shall pay all delivery or shipping charges connected with delivery or shipment of the defective frame or part to Company or its authorized dealer. Under no circumstances does this limited warranty include the cost of travel, delivery or shipment to Company or its authorized dealer. Such costs, if any, shall be borne by the original owner. Company shall pay the shipping costs associated with shipment of a replacement Vehicle and/or the shipment of a replacement or repaired part to the original owner. The original owner shall be responsible for any re-assembly of the Vehicle required in connection with any replacement or repair. It is the responsibility of the original owner to ensure that all parts included in the factory-sealed carton are properly installed and that all functional parts are adjusted properly. It is also the responsibility of the original owner to perform or provide all reasonable and necessary maintenance and adjustments to keep the Vehicle in good working condition.
This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to claimed defects, malfunctions or failures that result from abuse, neglect, shipping damage, damage caused accidentally or deliberately, exceeding weight limits, improper assembly, improper maintenance, alteration, collision, crash or misuse or improper use. The Vehicle has not been designed, engineered, distributed manufactured, or retailed for uses in trick riding, ramp riding, jumping, aggressive riding, riding on severe terrain, riding in severe climates, riding with heavy loads, commercial activities, use with motors, or any similar activities; such uses may damage the Vehicle, can cause serious injury to the rider, and in all cases will void this warranty. The user assumes all risk of personal injuries relating to use of the Vehicle, damage to or failure of the Vehicle and any such injury, damage or loss if the Vehicle is altered in any way or if it is used for stunt-riding, ramp jumping, or similar activities.
Useful Product Life Cycle
Every Trikke™ cambering vehicle has a useful product life cycle. The length of that useful product life cycle will vary with the maintenance and care received over its useful product life, and the type and amount of use the Trikke cambering vehicle is subject to. The Trikke cambering vehicle should be checked periodically for indicators of stress and any other indicators of potential problems. These are important safety checks and very important to help prevent accidents, bodily injury to the rider and shortened useful product life cycle of the vehicle. THIS IS AN INTEGRATED AND FINAL STATEMENT OF TRIKKE’S LIMITED WARRANTY. COMPANY DOES NOT AUTHORIZE OR ALLOW FOR ANYONE, INCLUDING ITS AUTHORIZED DEALERS OR REPRESENTATIVES, TO EXTEND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NO OTHER REPRESENTATION AND NO STATEMENT OF ANYONE BUT THE COMPANY, INCLUDING A DEMONSTRATION OF ANY KIND BY ANYONE, SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE TRIKKE CAMBERING VEHICLE. ALL OF THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER ARE STATED HEREIN. IT IS AGREED THAT TRIKKE TECH, INC.’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE NO GREATER THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE AND IN NO EVENT SHALL TRIKKE TECH, INC. BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Disclaimer
All other remedies, obligations, liabilities, rights, warranties, express or implied, arising from law or otherwise, including but not limited to, any claimed implied warranty of merchantability, any claimed implied warranty arising from course of performance, course of dealing or usage of trade, and any claimed implied warranty of fitness, are disclaimed by Company and waived by the original owner. Some states, jurisdictions, countries, do not allow some or all of the limitations set for herein, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If any provision is found unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply. This limited warranty does provide the original owner with certain legal rights and recourse and the original owner may possess other rights or recourse, depending on the state, jurisdiction, country or province.
